Financial Controller

Mr. Akinde serves as Financial Controller at Jacmel Partners, where he oversees the firm’s financial operations, reporting, and internal control functions. Prior to Jacmel, he served as Financial Controller at Financial Institution Training Centre, a Central Bank of Nigeria-owned institution, where he led financial strategy, statutory reporting, treasury management, governance, and process improvement initiatives across the organization. Before this, he held several finance roles at Alerzo Limited, including Senior Finance Manager, where he led the FP&A and Treasury functions. During his time at Alerzo, he played significant roles in equity and debt fundraising initiatives, supported the company in achieving its first clean audited financial statements post-incorporation, and contributed to the establishment of world-class finance processes and controls.

Mr. Akinde earned his B.Sc. in Accounting from Obafemi Awolowo University and is also an Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.
